This beautiful, fully-furnished apartment is on the second floor of an historic building constructed as the Phoenix Hotel in 1836 in the historic center of the hamlet of Ancramdale. The furnished accommodation is very light and airy and has just been completely renovated to a high standard: it comprises a bedroom with queen-size bed, a full bathroom, an eat-in kitchen and a sunny sitting room with fireplace. The balance of the house is occupied as a private home. Gas (for cooking) and heat are included; electricity is via a separate meter. Access is by means of a dedicated exterior stairway. There is private parking for one car and cleaning service is provided twice a month at $20/hour. Ancramdale itself is a beautiful farming community, established in the early 1800s. The towns of Millerton and Pine Plains are each less than six miles away, providing fine dining, movies, and excellent shopping.
